To help you get started, the calculator comes with pre-set input values. If you go ahead and hit submit, you will see two numbers calculated in the Results section. This example assumes that you want to borrow $200,000 dollars at 7.5% annual inerest rate for 30 years in monthly instalments in 2001.

Click the "Amortize" button on the form and select OK after you receive a message from the browser. The calculator will draw a payment schedule based on the numbers provided. The "Balance" column shows the balance remaining each year. The other columns show the interest and principal.
